Someday I'll take the time to figure out how to rotate videos. Until then, you get the gist. This is Aimee's sister, Kristen, playing with Luke.

More Cupcakes
Another fun cupcake evening.
Stay tuned for the final assembly in another post at a later time (we didn't take any with our camera so we have to figure out who did)!
Petting Zoo
The petting zoo was another part of the This Is The Place Heritage Park.
Hot Tub Swimming
Hot tubs are good for swimming, not just relaxing! Luke, Owen and Lettie blowing bubbles in the water.
New Trains!
This was a fantabulous garage sale find. We make a new track just about every day (aside from picking up the toys at night, well, most nights, the track is usually destroyed by one or the other of our miniature king kongs by the end of the day). Luckily this is one toy that mom and dad love to play with, too!

Cupcakes and the Cup Game
Aimee and Jill made cupcakes one Sunday. Just for fun. It was (fun, I mean).
At our family reunion last weekend, Luke's cousin Emily started practicing the cup game (official name for it? I have no idea). Luke saw and grabbed a cup to play with her, which she did for a few minutes. Thanks, Emily!
Playing Baseball
Some of Luke's cousins visited from South Carolina/Missouri (they were moving from one state to the other), and this is the baseball game that Luke played with his cousin Sawyer and aunt Talara.
At first Luke would throw his glove off when he ran to get the ball. Then the game paused for a minute while he put it back on.
We kept on asking Luke if he wanted to take a turn
batting, but he wanted to keep playing "fircus" base (that's how he says first). The ball got hit behind Luke a lot, and there was a hole that Luke kept tripping him up. After 5 or 6 times of falling down, he finally figured out to run around the hole.
Isn't it great how he lifts his leg up when he throws the ball? We love that.
I tried to get the whole game in this one, but I missed Sawyer hitting the ball. But you get the idea.

More Summer Activities
Taking really bad pictures of little boys with really dirty faces wearing really big batting helmets and baseball gloves.
